Trick or Treat!
Halloween is here, and in case you and your little ones haven’t mapped out their most lucrative trick or treating route yet, they do have some options to consider:
Main Street: Downtown Bozeman will be kicking off an evening of Tricks and Treats with dozens of shops participating in the festivities. If the goal for the evening is to obtain the largest amount of candy as quickly as possible, then grab a large cup of something warm to sip on as you dip in and out of Bozeman’s locally loved stores from 4-6 PM on Halloween day.
Historic District: Arguably the most fitting setting in the Gallatin Valley for an evening of trick or treating, the historic neighborhoods in Bozeman offer fully decked out, Victorian-style homes that you know have a history of their own. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the ghost of John Bozeman or Nelson Story wandering these haunted streets.
The Mall: Let’s face it, the weather does not always provide the best conditions to rock those highly anticipated Halloween costumes. With rain and possibly snow in the forecast, indoor trick or treating may be your best option. If you do decide to opt-in doors, the Gallatin Valley Mall offers a trick-or-treating option that provides a safe, well lit, and warm environment without skimping on the goodies. Wander from store to store from 5-7PM to see some seriously creative costumes and stock up on the candy!
